COVID-19 altered every person's reality overnight. Individuals, cities, economies, countries, and continents have experienced the shock of lockdown and the fear of unknowing.
Managers have had to make many decisions in a very short period of time – decisions about who should stay at work and who should go home; how and where people could be moved into digital space; and what the priorities are and how those priorities can best be communicated to employees.
A massive number of employees were designated to working from home. As a result, many managers are now leading remote teams for the first time. This sudden change has exacerbated the challenges of collaborating and leading from a distance.
