Mrs Irene Kaggwa-Sewankambo is the Executive Director at the Uganda Communications Commission. She possesses a vast experience in the ICT sector spanning policy development, research, regulation and implementation in various aspects including internet development, licensing, universal access, quality of service, numbering resource management as well as promotion of research and innovation.
An engineer by profession, Mrs Sewankambo holds a Master of Science in Communications Systems and Signal Processing from University of Bristol in United Kingdom and a Master of Science in Economic Management and Policy (Business Economic Pathway) from University of Strathclyde in United Kingdom. She acquired her Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University Kampala.

Mr Haruna is the founder and CEO of Sombha Solutions Store a Ugandan owned and operated internet and ICT provider licensed by UCC to provide voice and data services country wide. He is a Network Engineer by profession. He has over thirteen (13) years of experience in ISP/IT, managing core MPLS operations, access, at service provider level. He designed and implemented first international private leased line (IPLC) from Entebbe to Brindisi for MONUSCO” He has planned and designed delivery of 2.5 transmission capacity from Malaba to Kampala for Uganda Telecom. For the past 5 years he has grown Sombha from a startup to a fully structured and process oriented company delivering high standards of service to its customers.
