@skaheru (on Twitter) is an enthusiastic Ugandan who describes himself as a Professional Communicator. On an ordinary day, Simon is Public Affairs and Communications Director at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in Uganda, representing Century and Rwenzori Bottling Companies and the Plastic Recycling Industries initiative to rid Uganda of plastic waste. A Journalist by training and conviction, over the last twenty-five years, Simon has worked at various levels in the mainstream media in Uganda, reported for global media, served the Government of Uganda in an Executive office, and worked in busy corporate bodies within Uganda, regionally and globally. He has served on the Board of the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation as Director and Chairperson; is a Director of the ICT Association of Uganda, and Founding Chairperson of the Board; founded and serves on the Board of Land Rover Uganda, a club of Land Rover owners and enthusiasts; and is a Member of Backyard Gardeners Uganda. Simon is fun-loving, extroverted, and constantly plugged into as many gadgets as possible all inked to the internet and its various possibilities – and the only part of his life that he finds more important than the internet and his country Uganda, is his family.

The role of Director Programs is responsible for management of a regional network spanning all regional referral hospitals which act as hubs for product mentorship, equipment maintenance and repair services that cover the respective geographical to cater for all HCIIIs therein. In addition, LDL works with other partners in the Ministry of Health to ensure access to high quality POCT services by implementing a Quality Assurance program for proper use of point of care Devices for accurate and reliable results.

Henry has over 20+ years of experience in Credit Risk, 4 years of which were spent at SunTrust Bank executing credit risk function, mortgage banking & several areas, i.e. capital markets and advisory transactions across various sectors. Prior to joining Stanbic bank Uganda, he had spent the last 8 years focusing on Credit Risk analytics.
